SWITCHING BETWEEN SAVE MODES

FILE NAME

ARTEXT SAVE MODES

Artext software has THREE save modes

1 /HTML (default), email, blogs, web design
2/ WORD PROCESSOR/EMAIL/RICH TEXT, used for emails, word processing and importing into professional graphics programs
3/ BMP Graphics, wallpaper, graphics programs and editing

The following tutorial teaches how to switch from one mode for instance HTML to BMP Graphics

AUTO SAVING FROM ONE MODE TO ANOTHER  NOVICE MODE (RECOMMENDED)
In Artext Photo to Text, just above the custom typography box is a Box called 'Auto Save Name', this box becomes available once you have selected the image you wish to be converted to Artext.

1/ Firstly select a image you wish to convert (Recommend using a small thumbnail first)

2/ The 'Auto Save Name' will become available.  Tick the box

3/ Now whenever you switch modes from HTML to WORD PROCESSOR/EMAIL/BMP and vice versa, it will automatically rename the file for you and save it into the folder where the original image is stored.

* WORD PROCESSOR/EMAIL MODE and BMP Modes are not available in Trial Version.

MANUAL SAVING FROM ONE MODE TO ANOTHER
You have just created an Artext in HTML format and now wish to convert the same or new image image/photo into BMP Graphics.

As you have already create a HTML Artext with a image already, if you are changing your image to a new one select the photo/image first

1/ The FORMAT mode will be currently set in HTML mode, change the FORMAT to BMP

2/ We now have the image you want to convert and the format selected in BMP, now as you have already saved a ARTEXT HTML previously, you must now select SAVE AS.   Give the BMP a NEW NAME different to the HTML Artext.  For instance if the HTML Artext was called 1.html  call it 2.bmp

If you choose to use the same file name as the previous Artext the file the output will be blank.

SUMMARY

When switching between save modes

  • First CHANGE the format
  • Secondly SAVE AS, give it a new file name different to the last created Artext, even if it is not in the same format

GET THE VERY BEST OUT OF ARTEXT, TYPOGRAPHY DESIGN WILL NEVER BE THE SAME.
