RESIZING YOUR IMAGE

ADJUSTING TO IMAGE SIZE

ARTEXT FONTS

Fonts once again are effecting the Artext design, when switching font you may wish to adjust the height or width of your image/photo before converting

All fonts have different weights (different attributes, size, width, height, bold, italics etc), so you can change the font and it may look different to another font using the same font size

CHOOSING TO CONVERT WITHOUT RESIZING YOUR IMAGE

If you choose to convert an image from your computer without resizing it to thumbnail size, this may take your computer a longer time to calculate each colour to text conversion.

ADJUSTING IMAGE TO FONT

Artext has a buit in Quick Image editor, though this is for quick adjustments only.   We recommend that you use your graphics program to resize the images that you wish to convert into Artext to ensure the colour and quality is of optimal performance.

The following example explains how a photo/image reacts to a small thumbnail, and how to adjust the image itself to suit the font

The original image for this example below was 36 wide and 36 height pixels

FONT TYPE : FIXEDSYS

FONT SIZE : -50%

AUTO RESIZE WITH PAGE WAS UNCHECKED

The width size is not proportioned to the original image.   Manual adjustment must be made to ensure the artext image is proportioned to the original image

FONT TYPE : FIXEDSYS

FONT SIZE : -50%

We have used a graphics program to increase the width by 50% as the font attribute halfs the width size
