SIZE MATTERS

ARTEXT is an easy to use application that will take an digital photo or digital image and turn it into a text version. An ARTEXT can convert/save into three major formats HTML, RTF or BMP

Artext Personal edition can has various output modes, including Custom Text, Random Letters, Binary Numbers, Hex Numbers, Mono Text and so on.

Also, there is an Image Editor in this application. It is really useful for you to handle the image you want to convert quickly.   Though for optimal results please use your software package.

ARTEXT RECOMMENDATIONS

Resize your digital picture to 100 pixels wide for optimal conversions

 

RESIZE OF YOUR DIGITAL PHOTO AND IMAGES
The size of your digital photo effects the size of your Artext.  If you are using any digital image/ photo please resize the image/photo you wish to convert first to approximately 100 pixels WIDE. You can resize your photos using the Quick Image Editor.  Though for optimal Artext Image conversions please use your graphics program to resize your images. 

WHY 100 PIXELS WIDE AND HOW BIG IS 100 PIXELS?
Pixels are used to described the size of your image/photograph. When Artext converts an image into text form, the Artext the result is a blown up TEXT version of your original image. Small size photos/images on your computer are also known as THUMBNAILS.

ARTEXT TIP * RESIZE YOUR IMAGES


SIZE RATIO YOUR DIGITAL IMAGE/PHOTO
Artext converts images dependant on the size of your digital photo/image, as Artext maps the colour of your your photo/image, artext pinpoints the colours specifically by pixel.   Artext has average size ratio (depending on the font you choose) of approximatley 1 to 12.   For every ONE pixel, Artext will create TWELVE pixels. FONT SIZE
Every font on your computer has different size in pixels, design and layout, choosing a different FONT SIZE will change the design of your Artext

CHOOSING YOUR FONT
Selecting a font is as easy as selecting your original image or changing the font size.  The FONTS available in your ARTEXT  SOFTWARE is solely dependant on how many fonts you have installed on your personal computer.  The more fonts you have the more design options you have available.   As the Aesthetics of each font is different, the look, the feel and overall design of the font effects the design of your Artext.

The image you see behind this text was created using a larger imageYour Artext image will be approximatley SIX times the size of your original photo/image that you chose to convert

OUTPUTTING IN BMP
The standard graphics file format on Windows-compatible computers. Bitmap graphics support 24-bit color and can be saved for Windows or OS/2BITMAP.   BMP Graphics are larger than Jpg.  To ensure a smooth conversion.  Please use the guidelines above.

SCREEN CAPTURE
You can capture the Artext output on your screen by pressing the 'PRINT SCREEN BUTTON' on your keyboard.   Then in your graphics program New Clipboard.
